I almost hate to admit I shopped anywhere on Black Friday, but Erica and I decided to hit the comic book store, just to see what might be interesting.
It turned out they were doing a $1 "trade paperbacks we can't get rid of" sale.
With lots of old indie publisher and Marvel Graphic Novel stuff.
Yeah. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time looking for stuff from Oni, Top Shelf, Fantagraphics, and anything else that looked interesting. All told, we got 38 trades/graphic novels at a $1.00 a piece. Not too shabby.
So while others shopped for their loved ones, we shopped for us. And if that's not America at its finest, I don't know what is.
